The hotel was cool with decent and perfect location not far from restaurants and convenience store as well as other establishments like restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed tea/coffee making equipment, a seating area, and a writing table in the room. I came here for 4 nights and had a fine stay;)))

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the traditional Japanese style of the guesthouse added an authentic touch to my experience. the cozy common areas, complete with beautiful books and personal touches like photos and postcards on the walls, made me feel right at home. the heating system under the tables was a clever feature, especially since it was quite cold in the common areas. I also enjoyed exploring the quiet neighborhood on one of the rental bikes provided by the owner. I would definitely choose to stay here again!
No complaints. 😊

As a solo traveler, I loved the relaxed and social vibe at this Japanese-styled guesthouse. The staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do. The showers and bathroom facilities were clean, and they provided amenities. The common area had a great atmosphere with lots of board games to enjoy. Also, they had delicious green tea available for guests to help themselves to.
Felt like chilling at home, no complaints.

The decoration at Guest House Bokuyado was simply delightful. The traditional Japanese design brought back memories of my youth, and I felt a sense of tranquility and peace every time I entered the common areas. The wooden interior and paper walls added a touch of authenticity to the experience. As a senior, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The staff was always ready to assist me with any needs or questions, and they made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay.
If I could ask for one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be to have more comfortable seating options in the common areas. As the children working there are aware, elderly guests like me sometimes need a little extra support for our backs and joints.
